The mission of Nomsa AIDS Project is to provide support to community-based organizations that serve Africans and African-Americans living with HIV/AIDS. Nomsa is grounded in the belief that the most effective way to address a problem in a community is with the people from that community. We purchase beadwork handmade by women in South Africa who are infected and affected by HIV. Our purchase of the beadwork helps provide income to the craftswomen. We then sell the beadwork and use all proceeds to support HIV/AIDS organizations in Africa and the United States.
